When it comes to storing prewashed and stretch denim, you have some options:
- Hang by the belt loops using hangers or a wall rack.
- Hang from the waistband using clamp hangers.
- Fold tightly and stack side by side in your drawers. We like folding the two legs together, folding the legs in half, and then folding again by thirds to create compact, stackable packages that help prevent wrinkles.
Don't fold your jeans over a hanger to store them, as this can cause creases in the middle of the leg or stretch the fabric awkwardly. And when it comes to raw denim, only hang it vertically by the waist or belt loops – don't fold raw denim, which could alter the wear pattern and material permanently.
